What We Believe

EveryTongue.Church welcomes every denomination, every tradition, and every expression of the Christian faith. We do not play favorites. But there are truths we will not compromise.

One Body, Many Members

We recognize that within Christianity there are many denominations, traditions, and perspectives. We believe this diversity can be beautiful. There are areas of theology that faithful Christians have debated for centuries, and we have no interest in settling those debates. Those are matters between each believer and the Lord.

However, there are foundational truths of the Christian faith that are not subject to interpretation. These are not opinions. They are not traditions of men. They are the words of Scripture itself, and they define what it means to confess Christ.

Any individual or organization using this platform must affirm these core tenets. If the message being translated contradicts or denies these truths, access to the platform will be revoked.

EveryTongue.Church is a free service built exclusively for Bible-based Christianity. We serve churches, missionaries, evangelists, and kingdom businesses who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and hold to the authority of Scripture. Use of this platform by religions, movements, or organizations outside of Bible-based Christianity is not supported.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”

2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

Non-Negotiable

The Core Tenets

These are the foundational truths of the Christian faith, stated in the words of Scripture. Every word below comes directly from the Bible (ESV).

I

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is not a human invention. It is the testimony of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Belief in the Triune God is a core requirement for use of this platform. This is the God we serve, and this is the God whose Word we translate.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19 (ESV)

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

2 Corinthians 13:14 (ESV)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

John 1:1 (ESV)

II

The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. This was foretold by the prophets and fulfilled exactly as written.

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Isaiah 7:14 (ESV)

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 1:18 (ESV)

“And Mary said to the angel, ‘How will this be, since I am a virgin?’ And the angel answered her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy — the Son of God.’”

Luke 1:34-35 (ESV)

III

The True Humanity of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a fully human life on this earth. He was raised in Nazareth, worked as a carpenter, and walked among us as both fully God and fully man.

“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?”

Mark 6:3 (ESV)

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

John 1:14 (ESV)

IV

The Crucifixion for Our Sins

We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of mankind. His death was not an accident or a tragedy. It was the eternal plan of God to reconcile us to Himself.

“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures.”

1 Corinthians 15:3 (ESV)

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8 (ESV)

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 (ESV)

V

The Bodily Resurrection

We believe that Jesus Christ was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, in bodily form, exactly as the Scriptures declared. The resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Without it, our faith is in vain.

“That he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.”

1 Corinthians 15:4 (ESV)

“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”

Matthew 28:6 (ESV)

“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.”

1 Corinthians 15:17 (ESV)

VI

Victory Over Death and Sin

We believe that through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ conquered sin and death once and for all. Death no longer has dominion over Him, and through faith in Him, it no longer has dominion over us.

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (ESV)

“We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.”

Romans 6:9 (ESV)

“Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.”

Hebrews 2:14 (ESV)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 6:23 (ESV)

Our Position

EveryTongue.Church exists to serve the body of Christ in all its diversity. We welcome Baptist and Catholic, Pentecostal and Presbyterian, non-denominational and liturgical. We welcome missionaries in the field, evangelists on the street, and kingdom businesses in the marketplace. We do not require agreement on worship style, church governance, eschatology, or the countless areas where faithful Christians hold different views.

But we will not provide our platform to amplify messages that deny the foundational truths listed above. These are not matters of opinion. These are the words of Scripture.

Some may characterize this as exclusionary. We understand that perspective, but we respectfully disagree. A house must have a foundation. We are not deciding who is saved and who is not — that is the Lord's alone. We are simply stating what this platform stands on. If the message being preached, taught, or translated through EveryTongue contradicts the deity of Christ, denies the Trinity, rejects the virgin birth, or dismisses the bodily resurrection, then this is not the right platform for that message.

“For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:11 (ESV)

We hold these truths not out of arrogance, but out of reverence for the Word of God. We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. The tenets above are not our words — they are His.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”

Isaiah 40:8 (ESV)

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

John 14:6 (ESV)

If you share these convictions, we would be honored to serve you. Every tongue, every nation, every purpose — all for His glory.
