1. Introduction

EveryTongue.Church ("Service") is operated by King Enterprises ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our free real-time sermon translation service. We are committed to protecting your privacy while also protecting this ministry from abuse and misuse.

2. Information We Collect (Listeners)

For congregation members who use the listener page to read translated captions:

• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not use tracking pixels, analytics, or advertising
• We do not sell any data to third parties

However, to protect this free service from abuse and misuse, we do collect:

• IP addresses - collected solely for abuse prevention and rate limiting, not for tracking or identifying individual users
• Cookies - used for basic functionality (dark mode preference, language selection) only, never for tracking or advertising purposes

3. Information We Collect (Church Registration)

When a church registers for the service, we collect:

• Church name and location (city, state)
• Contact person's name and role
• Email address for service communications
• Phone number (optional)
• Language preferences
• Directory visibility preference (full name, anonymous, or hidden)

This information is used solely for setting up and administering the translation service for that church. It is never shared with third parties, used for marketing, or sold.

4. Content Monitoring & Abuse Detection

To ensure EveryTongue.Church is used exclusively for Kingdom ministry, we employ the following monitoring:

• Keyword scanning - transcribed content is scanned for profanity, hate speech, sexual content, and other non-church-related material
• Session transcript logs - text transcripts of sessions are stored for 30 days for abuse review purposes, then permanently deleted
• Periodic review - our team periodically reviews session logs to ensure the service is being used for church ministry only
• IP reputation tracking - IP addresses are monitored for suspicious patterns (excessive failed logins, rapid registration attempts)

We do not review content to learn about you or your church - we review content solely to confirm this free service is being used for its intended purpose: advancing the Kingdom of God.

5. Data Retention

• Session transcript logs: stored for 30 days for abuse monitoring, then permanently deleted
• Sermon audio: processed in real-time and never stored - audio is discarded immediately after transcription
• Church registration data: retained as long as the church maintains an active account; deleted upon request
• IP addresses: retained for abuse prevention purposes; purged after 90 days unless associated with a ban
• Notification subscriptions: email/phone for go-live notifications retained until unsubscribed

6. Third-Party Services

We use Microsoft Azure cloud services for speech recognition and translation processing. Audio data is sent to Azure Cognitive Services for real-time transcription and translation only. Azure does not retain audio data after processing is complete. Please refer to Microsoft's Privacy Statement for more information.

7. Security

All data transmission is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. Our infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure with enterprise-grade security. Admin access is protected by Azure Active Directory with multi-factor authentication. Church PINs are hashed with BCrypt and never stored in plain text.

8. Children's Privacy

Since our listener page does not require accounts or collect personal information beyond basic IP addresses for security, it is safe for use by individuals of all ages. Church registration is intended for adults (church leadership).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
