Threat Detection & Response

Threat Center

A multi-layered defense system that monitors, detects, and responds to threats across every translation session on the platform. Seven layers of protection stand between bad actors and the communities we serve.

Why We Built This

Unfortunately, the internet demands vigilance. Platforms get abused. People spread misinformation, harass, and exploit free services. A platform that provides real-time voice-to-text translation is a powerful tool, and powerful tools attract those who would misuse them.

This is our defense against threat actors - whether religious bad actors, hackers, people with harmful intent, or anyone who would bring harm to a platform meant to be free for the Kingdom's glory.

We built these defenses not out of fear, but out of love for the communities we serve. Every church, every missionary, every evangelist, and every kingdom business that trusts this platform deserves to know their translation sessions are protected by people who take that responsibility seriously.

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

1 Peter 5:8 (ESV)

Defense Architecture

Seven Defense Layers

Each layer operates independently and in concert with the others, creating a comprehensive defense posture that adapts in real time.

1

Real-Time Content Detection

Every word is monitored as it is spoken. Azure Speech-to-Text transcribes the live audio stream, and our content detection engine scans each phrase in real time against a multi-language database of blocked words and threat patterns.

2

Keyword Alert Watchlist

Custom alerts configured for dangerous terminology, doctrinal red flags, and context-specific phrases. When a watchlist term is detected, administrators receive an instant notification with the full context of what was said.

3

Listener Abuse Reporting

Any listener in any session can flag inappropriate content directly from their device. Reports are routed to the moderation queue with full session context, timestamp, and the flagged transcript segment.

4

Church Accountability System

A graduated response system for churches and organizations that violate platform policies. Warnings are issued first. Repeated violations lead to temporary suspensions. Severe or repeated offenses result in permanent bans from the platform.

5

IP and Identity Blocking

Ban enforcement at multiple levels: by IP address, email address, email domain, and geographic location. When a bad actor is identified, they are blocked across every vector to prevent re-registration or evasion.

6

Weekly Archive Scanning

Automated retroactive policy enforcement on sermon transcripts. Every week, archived session transcripts are re-scanned against the latest threat database to catch anything that may have slipped through during a live session.

7

Emergency Kill Switch

A platform-wide emergency stop for coordinated attacks or critical incidents. When activated, all active translation sessions are terminated immediately, new sessions are blocked, and the platform enters lockdown until administrators clear the threat.

What Administrators See

The Threat Command dashboard provides real-time oversight of all platform threats. Below is a simulated view of the interface our administrators use to keep every session safe.

Response Protocol

Threat Response Protocol

When a threat is detected, our graduated response system activates. The severity determines the response.

Severity Assessment

Automated classification with human review

Low Severity
Warning Issued

Church notified of the violation. Incident documented in the accountability record. No service disruption.

Medium Severity
Temporary Suspension

Church suspended for 7 to 30 days depending on severity and history. Active sessions terminated. Appeal process available.

High / Critical

IP blocked. Church removed from platform. All active sessions terminated immediately. No appeal for critical-level violations.

Want to Help Protect the Community?

The Guardians program is how we keep every translation session safe. Whether you serve as a Watchman, a Moderator, or simply stay informed, you are part of the defense.

“But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.”

Ezekiel 33:6 (ESV)

We take this responsibility seriously. Every layer of defense, every line of code, and every policy exists because we refuse to let this platform be used to harm the people it was built to serve.
